Gogol Bordello : Not A Crime
I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again - my fave gypsy punk Russian/Ukrainian/American band ever. I’ve seen them live every single time they’ve been in Tucson in the last three years. LOVE

The VDAY Vagina Warriors, as a part of their fall/winter fundraising effort, present their very own Feminist Icon Calendar!
Modelled by our very own members, this calendar features images and information about iconic feminists in history, literature, and pop culture, including:
- Rosie the Riveter
- Emma Goldman
- Gloria Anzaldua
- Eve Ensler
- Angela Davis
- Lysistrata
- and more!
Calendars are $15 (plus S&H if you live outside of Tucson). Please contact azvagwarriors@yahoo.com OR your favorite Vagina Warrior OR visit our MySpace to order via PayPal.
All funds raised by calendar sales will go to the UA VDAY Vagina Warriors’ efforts to stage three benefit productions of The Vagina Monologues, which annually raises money for the OASIS Center for Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence & the VDAY Spotlight Cause.

My favorite part of AIDSwalk is the AIDS Memorial Quilt. Even though I couldn’t walk with my team this year, I made it a point to go see the quilt peices.
… makes me wanna cry year after year
[What I Wore] Fall 09 Club Crawl: Casual and Country
Saturday night was the semi-annual Tucson Club Crawl and it involved a ton of walking, dancing to latin music, and hugging friends I hadn’t seen in months.
The boots’ 2 inch lift was what I needed to feel cute and kinna dressy while still walking a ton last night. Temperatures have been fluctuating quite a bit lately (highs in 90s, lows in 60s) - so I went with a jean (instead of tights).
lastnightsclubcrawl: my friends are pretty darn photogenic … and also consistently into empire waist dresses/tops
This is really not ok.
Don’t give me no rain, no rain..
Don’t give me no snow, no snow
Just give me that sun (hot hot hot hot)
That Arizona sun…
… Clearly I’m happy it’s not raining …
