What I Did This Weekend: IACURH 2009 regional conference at Northern Arizona University

Feeling really bummed about not getting Teach for America, so I’ve decided to be positive and list all the things I’m SUPER excited about in my life right now

• that baller metallic nail polish I’m rockin in this picture
• the fact that I just bought my first-ever blow dryer and successfully styled my hair
• my amazing boyfriend
• summer [paid!] internship in DC
• that I’m done with IACURH regional conference preparation
• good grades
• law school applications
• going to Flagstaff this week - seeing snow and getting to wear cute winter clothes
• my amazing RA staff
• the outrageous/memorable 2 weekends I just had
• great friends

yeah, I’m really fortunate/blessed with a great life :-)

last wednesday I crossed off #3 off my Tucson bucket list - I danced it up at Cactus Moon wearing cowboy boots AND took a picture on top of the bar/in front of the American flag

This homecoming weekend was an absolute blast! It was SO worth the cough/cold/lost voice/hangover that I got as a result. The week[end] was everything I had expected and more!

confession: this was also my first college homecoming because I’ve spent the last few years at leadership conferences in early November.
