Today In Clothes: Staying Classy on Casual Friday

I only recently found out that jeans were appropriate on fridays in my office. First thought: heck yes! Second thought: how do I wear jeans and not look like a college student running late to class?

holy new haircut, batman! … I went in for a trim and ended up looking like this. Guess I look kind of like an adult now, huh?

today I went to the Lululemon store in Georgetown and took a [free!] yoga class. It was awesome. And the a/c in the upstairs of the studio was broken, so the class quickly turned into a [surprise!] bikram class. Really really fun, I highly recommend finding your nearest Lululemon athletica store and checking out their free classes.

Operation “grow out my bangs” has been going pretty well. My last trim was in February -  and this is the status of mah hair. A few more months, and they should look like intentionally placed layers. Right?

showing off my tan today while running errands all over the NW. I don’t remember the last time I was this dark - but I guess this is what a 7 day cruise and a wine festival do to one’s skin. I’m quite surprised it hasn’t faded despite spending 40+ hours a week in a windowless basement office. 

Also - rockin the claddagh silver necklace that I got for graduation. I’m in no way Irish, but it’s just SO pretty :-)

New Romper - super comfy and surprisingly appropriate for Tucson outings. 

Fun story about the shoes: they were purchased at 1am at a large supercenter store in Denver Colorado in 2007  for something like $19. It is 2010, and I still own them and they still look cute. 

Here is me with some ‘old’ people - we’re all seniors and have all been friends since we were confused little freshmen looking to become involved in our dorms. We were the oldest undergrads at our banquet thursday. Among us:

• one is currently a hall director
• one is going to law school
• one is going to be a graduate hall director next year
• one is going into the Peace Corps
• one is IACURH director
• one has no idea what they’re doing after May 15th…
