26 Days Until I Turn 21!
and before then, I need to get my life together. That includes, but is not limited to:
- sign up for LSAT
- sign up/pay for LSAT prep course
- not gain weight
- get ahead on school work
- plan party (figure out if I’m co-hosting said party with other Aries peeps)
- tan
- find cute dress/outfit for party (acquire tiara?!)
- be a good RA
- clean my room/keep it clean for the entire month
- book spring break hotel, have safe/fun spring break
- send a ton of postcards, letters, and birthday cards to friends
- buy hot springtime going out heels or wedges
holy saturday nights, batman
it’s 1:30 am and I was about to enter my dorm building for the first time since 7pm. I’m wearing basketball shorts and an over sized Flogging Molly tshirt. no bra. wet hair. no makeup. it’s the epitome of classy.
But, just as I’m reveling in shame, two of my residents walk up. One is wearing a corset, miniskirt, fishnet knee-high stockings, and heels.. Meanwhile the other one is showing an ungodly amount of cleavage in some variation of an empire waist hot pink jersey top from forever 21, while wearing a denim mini skirt and heels.
instantly, i felt better about myself.
this wonderful moment is brought to you by a lengthy wine & cheese fete (me) and a “Porn Stars and Rock Stars” frat party (them).
Whaaaaat a good night!
there are few things I love more than dance parties, high heels, swapping going-out clothes, jello shots, breakfast burritos, riding in the back of a pickup truck, and parking lot photo shoots! So all in all: a wonderful night out.
My American Apparel-esque Party
- rene: i mean, that is THE place to go
- Alla: most people, if they didn't get their stuff at a thrift store, hit up AA
- rene: you're actually just doing your friends favors
- Alla: it's true
- Alla: gently pushing them on the road toward American Apparel addition...
- rene: making them buy aa is like making sure someone continues to buy cool insurance. you never know when you'll be in an emergency and need to pull out that deep v, or briefs, or even polka dot onezies.
